Itinerary details
- Departure from your Hotel/Villa
- Day 1 – Emilia Romagna
- Visit a dairy in Reggio Emilia
- Enjoy a guided tour of the factory and see the processing and aging techniques of Parmigiano Reggiano, butter, Ricotta, fresh milk and fresh cheese with your own eyes.
- Taste various types of Parmigiano Reggiano with different aging stages accompanied with Lambrusco wine from Emilia Romagna
- Arrive in Modena
- See how the Balsamic Vinegar d.o.p. is produced and aged through a guided tour in a local factory “Acetaia”.
- Taste various types of Balsamic Vinegar d.o.p with different aging stages
- Enjoy lunch in a restaurant or Agriturismo tasting the best dishes of the local cuisine
- Transfer to the accommodation for dinner and overnight
- Day 2 - Tuscany
- You will leave the accommodation after breakfast
- Visit the official Ferrari Museum in Maranello * LINK TO THE WEBSITE
- Arrive in the Chianti region in Tuscany
- Stop for lunch by the “Officina della bistecca” run by Dario Checchini in Panzano in Chianti for the ultimate steak experience
- Enjoy a wine tasting of selected Chianti wines in a local winery during the afternoon
- Transfer to the accommodation for dinner and overnight
- Day 3 - Umbria
- You will leave the accommodation after breakfast
- Arrive in Norcia
- Visit Italy’s oldest Norcineria - specialty butcher shop. See how meat is prepared, flavoured and aged to make Norcia’s famous cold cuts.
- Enjoy lunch in a restaurant or Agriturismo tasting the prized black truffle of Norcia and the best dishes of the local cuisine.
- Enjoy some free time to explore the town Norcia
- Return to your hotel/Villa.
